My Health Price is an informational tool that aggregates and displays hospital pricing data sourced from publicly available hospital Machine-Readable Files (MRFs) published under the CMS Hospital Price Transparency Rule. Our goal is to help consumers understand and compare healthcare costs.

The Service is provided for general informational purposes only. It does not constitute medical advice, financial advice, insurance advice, legal advice, or any other form of professional advice. No information on this site should be used as a substitute for consultation with a qualified professional.

Prices displayed on My Health Price are sourced from hospital-published transparency files. We make no guarantee of accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or fitness for any particular purpose with respect to this data. Prices may be:

• Out of date — hospitals update their files infrequently and on different schedules
• Incomplete — not all hospitals publish all procedures or all payer contracts
• Inconsistent — data formatting varies significantly across hospital filings
• Estimates only — the price you are actually charged may differ based on your specific clinical situation, insurance plan, deductible status, and other factors

Always verify pricing directly with the hospital and your insurance company before making any healthcare decisions. Request a detailed cost estimate and an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) before or after your visit.

My Health Price is not:

• A doctor or medical professional — we do not provide clinical guidance
• An insurance advisor or broker — we do not advise on coverage or plan selection
• A patient advocate or medical billing expert — we do not negotiate bills or interpret EOBs
• A legal advisor — nothing on this site constitutes legal advice

My Health Price may allow you to submit reviews, forum posts, feedback, or other content (“User Content”). By submitting User Content, you:

• Grant us a license. You grant My Health Price a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your User Content on the Service for the purpose of operating and improving the site.
• Represent that you own the content or have the right to submit it, and that it does not infringe any third-party rights.
• Agree not to submit PHI.You agree not to include Protected Health Information (PHI), including but not limited to: names, medical record numbers, insurance IDs, diagnoses, treatment details, or any other information that could identify an individual's health status or identity.
• Agree not to submit defamatory content. You agree not to post false, misleading, or defamatory statements about any hospital, healthcare provider, or individual.

We reserve the right to review, edit, or remove any User Content at our discretion, including content that we believe violates these Terms, contains PHI, is spam, or is otherwise harmful. We are not obligated to monitor User Content but may do so.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Scrape or bulk-download data using automated tools, bots, scrapers, or crawlers without our prior written permission
• Attempt to identify individuals by cross-referencing price data with other datasets
• Use data for discriminatory purposes — including employment decisions, insurance underwriting, or any use that discriminates based on health status
• Misrepresent the data — including presenting My Health Price data as official hospital billing quotes or as guaranteed prices
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, its servers, or its infrastructure
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service or its systems

The underlying hospital price data displayed on My Health Price is sourced from public hospital transparency filings. This data is not owned by My Health Price and is not subject to our copyright.

Our presentation, design, software, search algorithms, visualizations, and original written content are the intellectual property of My Health Price and are protected by applicable copyright and other laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our original content without prior written permission.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, My Health Price and its operators, affiliates, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service, including but not limited to:

• Financial decisions made based on price data shown on the site
• Healthcare decisions influenced by information on the site
• Inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete price information
• Inability to access the Service due to downtime or technical issues

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
